About the Company
We are a manufacturing organization specializing in fabrication, stamping, and related industrial solutions. The company partners with OEMs, machine builders, and manufacturers to deliver high-quality, technically sound products. With a strong operational foundation and marketing support in place, the organization is investing in building a scalable, repeatable sales function to drive growth and expand market reach.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs, machine builders, and manufacturers
Execute outbound prospecting strategies including email, phone, plant visits, and networking
Conduct discovery conversations and gather technical inputs for RFQs
Re-engage dormant and former customer accounts
Own the front-end sales process and manage RFQ intake
Submit complete RFQ packages to engineering and quoting teams
Track opportunities, customer communication, and pipeline status
Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting
Conduct on-site visits, shop tours, and customer meetings
Support technical discussions with engineering, operations, and procurement teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers
Provide weekly pipeline reporting and track key metrics (RFQs, pipeline value, win rate, new accounts)
Help refine and scale the sales process as the function grows
Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing sales (tool & die, machining, sheet metal fabrication, automation, molding, or similar)
Strong technical aptitude and ability to engage in engineering discussions
Proven ability to prospect and generate new business (cold outreach, plant visits, etc.)
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple opportunities
Self-directed with a process-oriented mindset
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with OEMs, machine builders, or industrial manufacturers
Familiarity with RFQ processes and technical quoting environments
Experience helping build or scale a sales function
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary:
Competitive (based on experience)
On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure:
