Maintenance Technician (4-Day Week) Dublin Talent Curve Recruitment is managing a search for a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading, high-volume manufacturing organisation in Dublin. This permanent role offers an exceptional work-life balance with a 4-day compressed working week (typically 4 x 10-hour days, providing 3 consecutive days off). Core Responsibilities Breakdown Support: Provide rapid-response electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to minimise downtime on high-speed production lines. PPM Programmes: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on automated systems, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics. PLC Fault-Finding: Interrogate PLC systems (such as Siemens or Allen-Bradley) to diagnose input/output and sensor faults. Continuous Improvement: Assist in machinery modifications to improve OEE and safety. Compliance: Adhere strictly to LOTO protocols, health & safety policies, and HACCP/GMP standards. Reporting: Document all activities within the site's CMMS. Candidate Profile Qualification: Fully qualified Electrician or Fitter (National Craft Certificate, SOLAS, or equivalent Level 6/7 trade qualification). Experience: 35 years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment (Food/FMCG, Pharma, MedTech, or Packaging). Technical Skills: Strong multi-skilled baseline in both electrical fault-finding and mechanical repairs. Aptitude: Safe, proactive problem-solver comfortable working independently on shifts. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: €60,000 €70,000 per annum (Negotiable). Shift Pattern: Compressed 4-Day Week (3 rostered days off each week).
