Mechanical Project Engineer Co. Tipperary Talent Curve Recruitment is managing a search for a Mechanical Project Engineer specialising in skids and process systems. Join a leading engineering and fabrication firm in Co. Tipperary delivering high-spec, turnkey solutions to the global Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Food sectors. Core Responsibilities Project Delivery: Coordinate the technical fabrication and delivery of modular process skids and piping systems to exact specifications. Technical Review: Verify 3D models, P&IDs, and isometric fabrication drawings to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM). Coordination: Liaise between the design office, fabrication workshop, and site teams to resolve spatial clashes and coordinate piping integration. Quality & Validation: Oversee QA/QC inspections, weld logs, and pressure/hydrotesting for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Procurement: Assist with material take-offs and compile technical submittals for specialist valves, pumps, and structural steel. HSE: Review RAMS and ensure all workshop and site activities adhere to the highest EHS standards . Candidate Profile Education: Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering. Experience: 15 years in a mechanical project, fabrication, or manufacturing role, with a strong focus on modular skids or process piping. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel fabrication, welding standards (ASME/EN), and stainless steel process piping. Software: Proficiency in 3D CAD packages (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Revit) and AutoCAD is essential. Logistics: Full, clean Irish driving licence. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: €50,000 €65,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience). Environment: Stable, high-growth contractor with a state-of-the-art regional fabrication facility. Location: Co. Tipperary (Workshop and office-based with occasional site travel).
