*Job Description:*
The Senior Infrastructure Architect is responsible for leading our client’s technology strategy and driving infrastructure innovation. This role involves shaping the technical roadmap, overseeing system architecture, and ensuring that services remain secure, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices. The position requires a strong background in designing and implementing advanced infrastructure solutions in dynamic and mission-critical environments.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Strategic Leadership*
Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap in alignment with the company’s business goals and growth plans
*Infrastructure Design & Management*
Architect, implement, and optimize robust, secure, and scalable IT infrastructures that support MSP/MSSP operations and compliance requirements
*Team Development*
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Innovation & Integration
Identify and integrate emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge while ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
*Risk and Compliance*
Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement initiatives and compliance measures that safeguard sensitive data and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
*Project Engineering*
Lead technical design, planning, and implementation of projects such as Azure and Microsoft 365 deployment, server migrations, network redesigns, and modern workplace initiatives
Architect Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions with emphasis on advanced networking, identity, governance, automation, cost management and high availability
Design and deploy Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments with Entra ID, Intune, security baselines, automation, and multi-region BCDR strategies
Plan and deliver enterprise-grade networking solutions, including LAN/WAN, SDWAN, VPN, BGP, OSPF, firewalls, segmentation, NSGs, routing, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity
Lead migrations from legacy or unsupported environments to modern cloud platforms using best practices and Microsoft Well-Architected Framework principles
Develop project scopes, runbooks, diagrams, and documentation that support clear execution and seamless handoff to our client’s Support Desk
*Sales Engineering*
Develop solutions for new sales or projects and assist the sales team with technical explanations
*Engagement & Growth*
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous growth through ongoing education, training, feedback, and innovation
*Qualifications/Must Haves*
* Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field – or equivalent experience
* Proven experience in a senior technical role, ideally within an MSP or MSSP environment
* Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing secure, scalable IT infrastructures, including cloud and on-premises solutions
* Exceptional strategic thinking, with the ability to align technological initiatives with broader business objectives and growth strategies
* Excellent mentorship and communication skills, with a history of building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams
* Expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Entra ID, and Conditional Access
* Expertise in Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, Autopolit, and identity security
* Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V), storage, clustering, and datacenter architecture
* Expertise in advanced networking, including Cisco (FTD, FMC, ASA, Catalyst,
ISR/ASR, SDWAN), Fortigate, Palo Alto, and Ubiquiti solutions
* Advanced experience implementing cybersecurity controls, including SIEM, SOC processes, endpoint security, and Zero Trust
* AZ-305 Microsoft Certification
*Nice to Have:*
* Experience with professional services automation (PSA) and remote monitoring and management (RMM)
* AZ-400 Microsoft Certification

The salary range for this position is between $120,000 to $180,000 depending on experience. It also includes a multitude of benefits to include medical, dental, vision, 401k and a 32 hour work week!
