About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Network Engineer to join our client's team in the IT sector. In this role, you will contribute to the design, deployment, and documentation of video solutions for mission-critical communication systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
Final Design and implementation of the video network including infrastructure, VMS, and camera equipment
Deliver professional presentations and provide customer and peer training
Develop and maintain engineering designs, diagrams, and bill of materials
Act as an external liaison for customers’ general contractors and subcontractors during implementation and support phases
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Telecommunications
3 years of Video System Integration, Network Engineering, System Engineering, or Wireless Communications Experience
Experience with IP networking, network design methodologies, and troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex topics to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Certifications through CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA, or similar
Experience with switching and routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, iBGP, eBGP, M-BGP, MPLS RSVP-TE, and LDP)
