The Med-Surg/Tele CNA assist nurses by providing basic patient care, monitoring vital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring patient safety for adults recovering from surgeries or illnesses while on heart monitors. Under RN supervision, you will assist patients with daily living activities, provide basic nursing care, and help maintain a safe environment./ph2Responsibilities/h2pEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):/pullistrongBasic patient care:/strong help patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating/lilistrongVital signs monitoring:/strong take and record blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation/lilistrongMobility assistance:/strong help patients get in and out of bed, walk, or use assistive devices./lilistrongEKG lead maintenance:/strong ensure telemetry monitors (heart monitors) are properly connected and functioning though Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) dont usually interpret heart rhythms, they might recognize when alarms go off and immediately alert registered nurses/lilistrongObservation:/strong monitor patients for any physical changes (shortness of breath, chest pain, altered mental status) and quickly notifying the nursing staff/li/ulh2Qualifications/h2pEducation and Work Experience/ppBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
