Dental Assistant Opportunity!
Our practice is looking for a reliable, team-oriented dental assistant to join our growing practice. We're a well-established office with a strong patient base, modern systems, and a supportive clinical team that values efficiency, communication, and high-quality care.
As a clinical team member, you will assist the dentist during procedures while ensuring each patient's comfort and overall experience.
Responsibilities:
- Strive to provide the best patient experience
- Support and assist dentist chairside with clinical treatment of patients.
- Assist with documentation and the upkeep of records
- Listen, empathize and address all patient concerns
- Provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health.
- Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process.
- Take radiographs/x-rays
- Support front desk and office manager as needed with admin needs, patient calls, etc.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of dental assistant experience.
- CPR certification- radiography/ x-ray certification per state guidelines
- Well versed in dental terminology and procedures
- Maintains a positive, collaborative and supportive disposition with team and patients
- Maintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., x-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).
- Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009
