This position ensures that meals are prepared, served, and delivered in accordance with established dietary guidelines and individual resident care plans. The Dietary Aide collaborates closely with the dietary team and healthcare staff to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment that promotes resident satisfaction and well-being. Attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards is critical to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall quality of life for residents by providing compassionate and attentive food services tailored to their unique needs./ppJob Responsibilities/pulliAssist in the preparation and serving of meals according to prescribed dietary plans and facility standards./liliFollow written and oral instructions carefully to ensure accuracy in meal delivery and portion control./liliMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils in compliance with health and safety regulations./liliWork collaboratively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and other team members to meet the nutritional needs of residents./liliSupport residents during mealtimes by providing assistance as needed, demonstrating patience and respect./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications/pulliAbility to follow detailed written and oral instructions accurately./liliDemonstrated patience and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with residents./liliBasic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliCertification in food handling or dietary aide training./liliExperience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare environment./liliUnderstanding special dietary needs related to senior health conditions./liliAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team./liliAdditional training in resident care or nutrition./li/ul/div
