Growing together./ppAs the Personal Care Assistant, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home./ph3Primary Responsibilities:/h3ulliProvides or assists clients with activities of daily living including:/liullibathing in bed, tub or shower/lilicare of hair including shampoo, combing and brushing/lilicare of teeth and mouth including denture care/lilinail care, filing only/liliskin care including pericare and applying lotion/lilitransfer of patient from bed to chair and to wheelchair/lilitransfer of patients on and off bedpan, commode and toilet/liliassist client in preparing for bed/liliposition patient in bed as directed/liliassists with ambulation including with cane, walker and crutches/lilipersonal care dressing of client/lilimedication reminder/li/ulliLive-in and Sleep Overs:/liullisecures clients home for the night and provides reassurance by being present at the clients home during the nighttime hours/lili(Washington and Oregon does not provide this service)/li/ulliUtilize the E.V.V. (Electronic Visit Verification) program as applicable/liliAssists with household tasks directly essential to clients personal care/liliAccompanies client to medical appointments or shopping if necessary and performing other essential errands/liliMeasures and records oral, rectal, and auxiliary temperatures, pulse and respiration, and blood pressure when ordered within the training limitations of the aide/liliPrepares meals as required based upon clients preferred diet/liullimay need to feed client if required/li/ulliProvides clean and safe environment within the home including safe use of equipment such as side rails, oxygen, wheelchairs, Hoyer lifts, etc./li/ulpYoull be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in./ph3Required Qualifications:/h3ulliCurrent drivers license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation/liliAbility to work flexible hours as required to meet identified patients needs/liliAbility to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications:/h3ulli6+ months of experience in home care/liliAbility to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client/liliAble to work independently/liliAbility to multi-task, self-directed, good time management skills/liliGood communication, writing, and organizational skills/li/ulpPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $10.00 to $24.23 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable./p/div
