Supporting the delivery of electrical engineering design services for renewable energy and substation projects, the full-time Electrical Design Engineer I will perform routine design tasks under supervision, creating electrical plans and drawings while ensuring compliance with safety standards in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities
Create electrical engineering plans, details, and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects Provide design drawings, including one-line and three-line diagrams, electrical layouts, and schematics Ensure compliance with safety standards and collaborate closely with senior staff on assigned tasks
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field with extensive electrical coursework Some prior experience in designing and drafting using AutoCAD Familiarity with the NEC and understanding of codes and standards Ability to identify and solve complex problems Detail-oriented with efficient time management skills
