Responsibilities Manage day-to-day IT operations and employee technology support Serve as the primary point of contact for the company’s third-party IT provider and external vendors Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup, account management, and system access Support and maintain company hardware, software, networks, collaboration tools, and cloud-based systems Help develop and implement IT policies, cybersecurity practices, and data protection standards Monitor IT infrastructure, security, and system performance to ensure operational reliability Manage software licensing, IT inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships Partner with leadership to support future IT planning, scaling, and operational improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or technical support Experience managing IT vendors and supporting growing organizations Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, networking, endpoint management, and cybersecurity best practices Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment Preferred Experience Experience supporting engineering, laboratory, or technical R&D environments Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance practices Experience with cloud infrastructure, SaaS administration, and identity/access management systems Compensation & Benefits What we are working on is hard… and hugely important.
