Join our dynamic team as a Technical Business Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and IT. Your expertise will ensure that our enterprise systems are finely tuned to meet operational demands. You'll be at the forefront of gathering and translating business requirements into actionable functional and technical specifications. Dive into system configuration, integration, and optimization across ERP modules and connected applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance processes, and drive innovations. Your contributions will support data integrity, reporting, and system testing efforts, while also managing system upgrades, vendor relationships, and documentation. Align with our business objectives to drive scalability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements for Epicor ERP and integrated applications.
Translate business needs into clear specifications, BPMs, dashboards, BAQs, and user stories to support system configuration and development.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on priorities, scope, and delivery.
Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Epicor ERP modules like Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and Order Management.
Design, develop, and maintain Epicor components such as Business Process Management (BPM) workflows, Business Activity Queries (BAQs), dashboards, and reports.
Evaluate and improve business processes within Epicor to drive efficiency, automation, and effective system utilization.
Troubleshoot Epicor application, customization, and integration issues; perform root cause analysis and coordinate timely resolution.
Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), particularly for Epicor upgrades and enhancements.
Ensure data integrity across Epicor and integrated systems, including validation of data conversions, interfaces, and reporting outputs.
Develop and maintain documentation for Epicor configurations, customizations, process flows, and user procedures.
Partner with stakeholders to define reporting and analytics needs using Epicor tools (BAQs, SSRS, dashboards); validate accuracy and usability of outputs.
Support Epicor system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, including impact analysis, regression testing, and deployment coordination.
Facilitate change management processes for Epicor changes, ensuring proper documentation, testing, and communication.
Collaborate with Epicor vendors/partners for support, issue resolution, and system improvements.
Provide end-user training and support focused on Epicor functionality and best practices.
Monitor Epicor system performance and recommend improvements to reliability, scalability, and user experience.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and manufacturing experience will be considered.
Required Experience
5 years of experience supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, preferably Epicor.
Hands-on experience with Epicor tools such as BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, and reporting (SSRS or equivalent).
Experience supporting Production, Supply Chain, Order Management, and Finance/Accounting functions.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system and integration issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements.
Experience working with third-party vendors and system integrators.
Familiarity with system integrations (APIs, EDI, or middleware) preferred.
5 years of experience with Client O365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps).
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and business processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Epicor.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Strong documentation and process-mapping capabilities.
Ability to troubleshoot in time-sensitive production environments.
Effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in ITAR-regulated environments.
Experience in supporting and enhancing CMMC or other defense-related cybersecurity environments.
Experienced supporting AS9100 internal and external audits and customer audits.
Experience with ERP transformations or system migrations.
Working Conditions
Primarily office, with some server room and manufacturing floor environments.
Exposure to noise, machinery, and production equipment.
On-call and after-hours support may be required to support production schedules.
Location:
