We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Scheduling Coordinator to join our dedicated team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in delivering an excellent patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm ResponsibilitiesAnswer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication Communicate with referring offices to obtain all necessary documentationCoordinate scheduling of treatment appointments based on provider availability and patient needsObtain necessary insurance benefit breakdowns and confirmation of coverage detailsProvide accurate estimated out-of-pocket costs to patients prior to appointment, along with all other necessary pre-appointment information Serve as a liaison between the provider and patient to facilitate understanding and trust Maintain patient records and documentation of communication with patients, and ensure accurate data entry Ensure strict compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned QualificationsRequirements High school diploma or equivalent1+ year of dental or medical scheduling experiencePreferred SkillsFamiliarity with dental treatment planning and insurance coordinationExcellent communication and presentation skillsCompassionate, patient-focused demeanorStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesExperience with dental practice management softwareAbility to explain complex information in a clear and supportive wayUnderstanding of dental procedures, codes, and insurance plansKnowledge of HIPAA and regulatory requirements We OfferCompetitive CompensationBenefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more! The salary range for this role is $18 - $20 per hour.
