Lead stock team efforts to collaborate on and implement plans for the physical and systemic movement of merchandise samples for business needs as required with a strong focus on inventory, logistics, and process improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee strategic movement of merchandise samples in-to and out-of the Corporate Office and Mock Store maximizing the available square footage.
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Develop a high-performing team through thoughtful team member development, effective and timely performance assessments and productive workflow processes.
- Work with Merchandising to execute bi-annual inventory
- Responsible for unloading, processing and maintaining all incoming and outgoing packages in alignment with company standards
- Build, handle and wrap furniture samples and make recommendations for packaging, assembly, assembly instructions, and hardware improvements, as needed.
- Lead the Merchandise aspect of the associate Sample Sale
- Maintain awareness of in-development and current product information, intranet communications.
- Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and company to internal customers in all forms of communication.
- Maintain an awareness of all loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by management or the Human Resources Department and/or as outlined in the Crate and Barrel/CB2 Associate Guide.

- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute deliverables against timelines
- Must be able to travel between Corporate Offices, Mock Store and Photo Studio as required.
Experience Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 5+ years relevant experience in stock management, receiving and merchandising
- Understanding of general office equipment, AS400, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Office Suite telephone/intercom system, copier, fax machine
- Experience with stockroom equipment and tools such as SKU and tagger guns, small hand tools, ladders, step stools, hand truck, dolly, baler and pallet jack.
On a daily basis, must be able to constantly have visual acuity near and far, stand, operate computers/POS/office equipment, move around the facility and communicate. Ability to frequently handle paperwork and/or remain stationary. May occasionally lift, carry, reach, kneel, crawl, push/pull, climb, balance, bend, crouch, twist or have foot controls for operating equipment.
Physical Demands **Movement of product, supplies and/or boxes to and from all levels of the store and stockroom. Ability to move and/or lift up to 65 lbs to a height of 3-4 feet; heavier product with team assist. Furniture: Ability to move up to 300 lbs with appropriate equipment.
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions **Hot/cold temperature changes, concrete floors, odors, dust and mechanical/electrical/chemical hazards possible
