The incumbent strives for 100% occupancy through retention of existing residents, leasing current availability and pre-leasing of future availability./ppRESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)/pulliBe an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure that Cardinal customers are satisfied./liliUtilize the Cardinal Way of Leasing by:/liulliWarmly greeting prospective clients/liliAnswering incoming leasing calls/liliDetermining needs and preferences/liliProfessionally presenting the community and apartment homes/liliUtilizing feature/benefit selling/liliClosing the sale/liliFollowing up/liliUsing Gotta Says/li/ulliEarn and maintain a Cardinal Way of Leasing certification by utilizing the CWoL resources available to all team members and passing both in house and third-party shops in congruence with the Cardinal Training Department scoring standards./liliComplete all lease applications and lease file paperwork./liliMaintain accurate lease file documentation in accordance with company policy; participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager./liliMaintain cleanliness of the tour path to ensure for a positive first impression of the community./liliDemonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors./liliParticipate in and assist with planning the communitys Monthly Marketing Plan (MMP)./liliAssist with various additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager./liliParticipate in Cardinal U training as required./li/ulpQUALIFICATIONS/pulli1-2 years of customer service and sales experience./liliStrong communication skills./liliHigh-energy and enjoys a fast pace environment./liliEnjoys and takes pride in providing excellent service./liliGreat with people warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phone./liliBasic computer skills: typing and writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc./liliHigh School Diploma or equivalent./liliAvailable evenings and weekends./liliAbility to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day./li/ulpWORK ENVIRONMENT/ppThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
