Floor Customer Service - Make sure that every customer coming into the store receives consistent, friendly, accurate, informative, and professional customer service.
Register Customer Service - Proficiently handle register transactions. Sales associates may be required to work at the register 1 to 3 days a week or more if customer volume is required.
Consignment Customer Service - Proficiently handled consignment intakes, maintaining good quality control and a friendly approach to all consignment customers both at the intake desk and on the floor. Associates can expect to work in consignment 1 to 2 days a week or more if desired.
Store Functions - Keep the OGE and any associated facilities or areas clean, organized, maintained, and free from obstruction.
Livin' the Life - OGE employees are hired under the premise that they have experience and competency using a variety of outdoor gear and participate in a variety of outdoor activities. As such they are expected to get outside, have fun, and use the gear!
Requirements
- Learning and maintaining knowledge of computer programs and tasks relevant to your work
- Possessing and utilizing skills in accuracy, organization, attention to detail, and self-motivation
- Work productively alone, within the group, and across departmental boundaries
- Communicate promptly and clearly both through email and in person
- Be respectful and professional in all interactions and communications
- Arrive on time (by definition)
- Check email at least once per day
