Our mission is simple: to help employees better understand their health and support healthier workplaces./ppWe are seeking skilled, professional Phlebotomists with corporate wellness or biometric screening experience to support our on-site employee health screening events. This role is engaged on an as-needed basis and is classified as a 1099 independent contractor position./ppEvents are generally conducted during early mornings and daytime hours on weekdays, offering a flexible schedule for supplemental work./ppTo perform health risk screening assessments and provide clear, supportive counseling on screening results at employee health screening events./ppPrimary duties and responsibilities include:/pulliWelcome participants and guide them through the screening process/liliObtain height (stadiometer) and weight measurements/liliMeasure resting blood pressure using a manual cuff/liliPerform fingerstick blood collection and operate Cholestech LDX/CardioChek equipment accurately/liliAssess lipid panel and glucose results/liliPerform venipuncture blood draws (when required) within two attempts/liliAccurately document screening data via paper forms or electronic tablets/liliComplete basic data entry using electronic systems/liliAssist with troubleshooting screening or equipment issues/liliSupport setup, breakdown, and transport of screening equipment/liliAssist with medical emergencies (e.g., fainting, hypoglycemia, seizures, syncope, cardiac arrest), including initiating emergency response and providing CPR as needed/liliMaintain strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality standards/liliPerform additional screening modalities or duties as trained and assigned/li/ulpPhysical demands include:/pulliAbility to work in a variety of client-site environments/liliStand for up to 6 hours/liliBend, lift, and carry supplies and equipment (up to 30 lbs; push/pull up to 50 lbs)/liliUse arms to properly operate screening equipment (e.g., stadiometer)/liliNavigate stairs while transporting equipment/liliSafely assist participants during medical emergencies as required by protocol/li/ulpQualifications include:/ppEducation:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED required/liliCompletion of a phlebotomy or medical assistant program preferred/liliCompletion of a nursing program preferred/li/ulpRequirements include:/pulliMinimum of 2 years of clinical experience required/liliPrevious biometric screening experience preferred/liliCurrent CPR/BLS Certification required/liliCurrent phlebotomy and/or medical certification preferred or as required by state regulations/liliExperience obtaining anthropometric measurements (manual BP, height, weight, BMI)/liliProven proficiency in venipuncture and/or fingerstick capillary blood draws in accordance with regulatory and infection control standards/liliAbility to independently perform all clinical duties and exercise sound clinical judgment/li/ulpWhy work with IH21?/pulliFlexible, PRN scheduling/liliTravel reimbursement/liliReferral program/liliOpportunity to work with a nationwide wellness organization making a meaningful impact/li/ulpIntegrated Health 21 is an Equal Opportunity Employer/p/div
