The Learning Systems Analyst designs and supports job role architecture within the Learning Management System (LMS). This role ensures that job roles and competencies are accurately defined and mapped to users, enabling scalable, role based learning and workforce development. The role combines learning systems administration, data analysis, and advisory capabilities and partners closely with global Learning teams and business stakeholders. Success requires strong analytical skills, comfort working directly with LMS data, and the ability to translate business needs into practical, system supported solutions within defined standards and constraints.
Key Skills & Competencies
" Hands on experience working within an enterprise LMS
" Strong data analysis skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
" Ability to leverage LMS reporting to analyze learning and job role data to deliver data-driven insights
" Support data quality, role structure integrity, and continuous system improvement
" General understanding of the oil and gas industry, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations
" Strong communication, collaboration, and change management skills
" Ability to facilitate discussions with learning teams and subject matter experts to define LMS setup and role structures
