Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who has successfully led initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups within a matrixed organization. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in evolving environments, influencing without direct authority, and driving structured execution from partially defined scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects involving cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Communications, Customer Service, and Operations/Maintenance.
Influence and align stakeholders without direct authority and facilitate effective decision-making.
Build structured, sequential project plans as scope and requirements evolve.
Manage risks and dependencies proactively; identify issues early and develop mitigation strategies.
Escalate risks with clear recommendations to leadership and PMO Lead.
Facilitate working sessions and ensure accountability across teams.
Provide clear, consistent status updates to leadership.
Manage third-party vendors and hold them accountable for scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Support contract review, scope management, and requirements traceability.
Assess project gaps, recommend actionable next steps, and maintain execution momentum independently.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience leading projects in a matrixed organization.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
Demonstrated experience in risk and dependency management.
Experience managing external vendors.
Ability to work with partially defined scope and bring structure to ambiguity.
Self-starter with strong ownership mindset.
Preferred Qualification:
PMP Certification (Highly Desired)
