This is a hybrid role with an onsite presence required in Albany, NY two days per week.
Job Duties
Business Analysis & Documentation
Elicit, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder engagement
Develop business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, and process flows
Document current-state and future-state workflows
Create, standardize, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational documentation
Support strategic initiatives by translating high-level goals into actionable documentation and processes
Data Analysis & SQL Development
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for reporting and analysis
Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance
Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Excel or Tableau
Translate analytical findings into business insights and requirements
Document analytical approaches, assumptions, data sources, logic, and analytical methodologies
Support both technical and non-technical stakeholders in understanding data outputs
Align business needs with data solutions and reporting capabilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Public Administration, or related field
5–7+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, or related roles
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Experience gathering and documenting requirements and processes
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in healthcare, pharmacy programs, Medicaid, Long-Term Care (LTC), or EVV environments
Experience developing SOPs and operational documentation
Knowledge of data governance, data modeling, or ETL processes
Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, or data analytics certifications)
Salary Range:
$115,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
