About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Design Engineer to support the development of existing products while contributing to the design of new HVAC&R and thermofluid systems across multiple product ranges.
The role will involve the design and development of refrigeration systems and related teaching apparatus, working closely with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to deliver innovative and high-performing engineering solutions.
This opportunity would suit an experienced engineer with strong HVAC&R design knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a practical, hands-on approach to engineering development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and develop refrigeration and thermal management system designs for specialist engineered equipment
* Generate 3D models, technical layouts, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software
* Carry out engineering calculations relating to system performance, energy transfer, and fluid dynamics
* Specify suitable mechanical and refrigeration components for system applications
