Hours:
Open, flexible scheduling; General Office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm; Community-based service hours may extend until 8:00pm seasonally (i.e. during spring and summer months) when daylight hours are longer; weekend availability for candidates who prefer weekends
Education:
The Substance Abuse Professional must have LCAS/LCASA, CSS, or CSAC and have the abilities, skills, and knowledge required by the population and age to be served
Territory Coverage:
This position covers
Raeford (Hoke County), Lee County, and Moore County . Travel between sites within these counties is required.
Experience:
Assisting the Team Leader with behavioral and substance abuse interventions
Assisting consumers in attending professional appointments, life skills, independence, and rehabilitation as necessary according to the Person-Centered Plan
Ensuring linkage to community services and resources
Maintaining records and charting on each individual and reporting unusual and critical incidents in a professional, timely manner (within 24 hours)
Ensuring linkage to community services and resources
Familiarization with medications used by the client and polices regarding medication administration
Other duties assigned by the Team Leader/Program Coordinator/Clinical Director that reasonably relate to achieving performance goals.
Occupational Certification/Licenses:
North Carolina Driver's License
