The MA in Graphic Design program provides an in-depth study of the language and practice of graphic design with an emphasis on process, visual research, and working across media as they relate to specific audiences and contexts. Delivered fully online, the program equips creative professionals with advanced skills in: Visual communication systems Typography, branding, and publication design UI/UX design, motion graphics, letterpress, screenprinting, illustration, and social design Design research and critical theory Systems thinking and strategic communication Emerging technologies, including generative and computational design Professional positioning and portfolio development This position supports this rigorous, concept-driven graduate curriculum that integrates advanced design theory, professional practice, research methodologies, and emerging technologies within a flexible asynchronous learning environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in contemporary graphic design practice and the ability to guide graduate students in developing conceptually sophisticated, research-informed, and professionally relevant design work. We are seeking adjunct faculty to design and deliver engaging and relevant content for our online asynchronous version of our MA in Graphic Design. The ideal candidate will be an active practitioner with strong visual storytelling abilities, an up-to-date understanding of design industry standards, enthusiasm for mentoring diverse creative professionals, and comfort translating their expertise into a dynamic online learning environment.
