to join our collaborative Revenue Cycle team in a fully remote role — including training and onboarding.
This position is ideal for someone who brings strong physician billing experience, understands the complexities of payer guidelines and revenue cycle workflows, and enjoys serving as a knowledgeable resource to both patients and colleagues. In this role, you’ll partner closely with clinics across the organization to ensure timely and accurate billing processes while helping support an exceptional patient experience.

Schedule Full-Time, Monday‑Friday, 8:30am‑5:00pm
(This role is a fully remote position, where candidate will be expected to be available and working during the business hours of 8:30am‑5pm EST. Candidate must be eligible per PCHC's Telecommuting Policy.)
Highlights of the position
Revenue Cycle Expertise: Process physician and facility charges accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with payer requirements, coding standards, and billing guidelines.
Patient‑Centered Service: Support patients with professionalism, empathy, and respect while assisting with billing questions, payment plans, and claim resolution.
Problem Solving & Account Resolution: Monitor and follow up on outstanding claims, research billing issues, and work proactively to support accounts receivable reduction goals.
Mentorship & Team Support: Serve as a resource for billing staff and clinic teams by providing guidance, education, and payer‑specific training related to billing and revenue cycle processes.
Collaboration Across Clinics: Work closely with operational and clinical teams across the organization to improve workflows, support accurate billing practices, and enhance the overall patient experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent educational certification required.
Certified Professional Coder (AAPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (AHIMA) preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of physician billing experience in a health care organization required.
