On-Site Compensation: $55K - $65K base salary (salary range based on fit and qualifications) + bonus potential based on team and individual performance. safely, efficiently, and reliably. What You'll Be Doing
As an Inside Sales Engineer, you'll serve as a key liaison between customers, engineering, marketing, and operations. Your role blends technical aptitude with commercial focus, ensuring customers receive timely proposals, world-class service, and proactive communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Customer Engagement - Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers; understand their business needs and project timelines. Sales Execution - Qualify inbound leads, draft and follow up on proposals, and manage the entire sales process in our CRM (HubSpot). Technical Collaboration - Work closely with engineering and estimation to develop accurate, compelling proposals and technical documentation. Marketing Partnership - Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, trade shows, and lead generation. Help craft and refine sales collateral. Order & Data Management - Oversee order processing workflows and sales data reporting; track KPIs and identify improvement opportunities. Process Optimization - Streamline communication between sales, service, and production teams to improve customer experience and response time. Event Participation
Specified travel of approx. 30% is required to represent Align at industry events, conferences, and client meetings. What We're Looking For
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives at the intersection of sales, engineering, and customer service. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field
or equivalent experience. 2+ years in inside sales, customer service, or sales coordination (preferably in commercial, industrial, or technical markets). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience working with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft 365 tools. Technical aptitude with the ability to read drawings and understand mechanical systems. (CapEx experience a plus) Spanish language proficiency (preferred but not required).
