This is a remote position. Position Overview We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Intern to work directly alongside our CEO in building out two critical channel partnership programs:
This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for real estate, business development, and social impact to gain hands-on experience in partnership development, program design, and strategic execution. You will play a key role in shaping our affiliate servicing strategy, building out assets, processes, knowledge bases, and communities that support our partners nationwide.
Key Responsibilities Assist in designing, piloting, and scaling partnership programs for real estate professionals and housing non-profits.
Relationship Management:
Support outreach, onboarding, and ongoing engagement with affiliate partners to ensure successful collaboration and growth.
Asset & Process Creation:
Help develop training materials, onboarding resources, process documentation, and knowledge bases for channel partners.
Community Building:
Contribute to the creation and moderation of partner communities (forums, webinars, events) to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct research on partnership models, best practices, and competitive landscape within the residential and commercial real estate sectors.
Collaborate with the sales team to optimize lead generation, partner activation, and performance tracking processes.
Project Management:
Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work and alignment with strategic objectives.
Reporting & Insights:
Track key metrics, analyze program performance, and present actionable insights to leadership.
Proactively seek out new knowledge and skills in channel development, partnership management, and real estate trends. Requirements
QualificationsRequired:
Pursuing or recently completed a BA/BS in Business, Real Estate, or related field Demonstrated interest in real estate, business development, or social impact Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred:
Prior internship or work experience in residential or commercial real estate, sales, or partnership channel development Experience with CRM or project management tools Familiarity with Georgia and New York City Metro Area real estate markets Work Ethic & Independence:Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Leadership Potential:Exhibits emerging leadership skills and a desire to manage diverse teams in the future. Analytical & Organizational Acumen:Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and deliver high-accuracy work under tight deadlines. Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present ideas clearly and build rapport with diverse stakeholders. Adaptability:Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-paced environments; eager to learn and grow. Tech-Savvy:Proficient with productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office), CRM systems, and basic project management software. Learning Outcomes By the end of the internship, you will have: Hands-on experience building and scaling channel partnership programs in real estate and non-profit sectors. Experience of how to plan channel asset development (training modules, process docs, community initiatives) Practical knowledge of sales development structures, process optimization, and partner enablement. Exposure to executive-level decision-making and cross-functional leadership. A strong foundation for a career in business development, partnerships, or program management.
