We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and flexible schedules./ppTo provide each assigned resident with routine daily nursing care and services in a safe, timely and accurate manner in accordance with state and federal requirements and the policies and goals of this facility./ppCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Responsibilities:/pulliPerforms all personal care activities under the direction of an RN and which may include, but not be limited to, assisting the patient or client with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, and physical transfer/liliMaintenance of a clean, safe and healthy environment/liliOther activities as taught by a licensed health professional employee/liliAssisting with tasks associated with elimination including, but not limited to toileting, assisting with the use of the bedpan and urinal, providing catheter care including changing the urinary catheter bag, collecting specimens, and/or emptying ostomy bags, or changing bags that do not adhere to the skin./liliAssisting with the use of devices such as a wheelchair or walker/liliAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises/liliMeasuring intake and output of fluids/liliMeasuring temperature, pulse, respiration or blood pressure./liliKeeping records of personal health care activities./liliObserving appearance and gross behavioral changes in the patient and reporting to the RN./liliReceive and give accurate and concise report at the beginning and end of your shift/liliAssist with activities of daily living according to each residents C.N.A. care plan/liliEnsure residents appear neat, clean and well-cared for at all times/liliReport any refusal of care to the charge nurse/liliMaintain hydration and nutritional status of each resident according to their plan of care/liliSpeak only in the residents language in and around their room/liliKnock on the residents door before entering the room/liliMaintain confidentiality, privacy and dignity at all times/liliCall lights are kept within reach of each resident/liliAnswer call lights and alarms immediately/liliSafety equipment such as lifts and gait belts are used according to facility policy/liliComplete all documentation accurately before the end of the shift/liliNotify the charge nurse or unit manager immediately of any change in a residents condition/liliNotify charge nurse or unit manager immediately of accidents, incidents or complaints/liliReport suspicions of abuse or misappropriation of resident property immediately/liliComplete assigned duties completely and accurately without prompting/li/ulpBenefits:/pulli403B/liliDental insurance/liliDisability insurance/liliHealth insurance/liliLife insurance/liliPaid time off/liliEmployee Discounts/li/ulpSchedule:/pulli8 hour shift/liliDays, Evenings, or Nights/liliHolidays/liliWeekends/li/ulpSalary:/pp$20 - $31.50 per hour based on years of experience and differential of shift worked./ppRequirements:/pulliNew graduates accepted - 1-year experience preferred/liliCurrently registered as a CNA in the state of Massachusetts/liliLong-term care experience is desirable/liliComputer literacy is desirable/liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills/liliMust meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility/liliAble to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds for at least 50 feet with or without the aid of mechanical devices/li/ul/div
