Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant at a skilled nursing facility in Pitman, NJ. You will work with residents across subacute, long-term care, and outpatient programs to help them move better, feel better, and remain active under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The current interdisciplinary team includes PT, OT, a COTA, a Speech Therapist, and a Respiratory Therapist. Please submit your resume to begin the application process.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active New Jersey PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing, subacute, long-term care, or outpatient settings is required. New graduates are not eligible; must be prepared to hit the ground running.
- Familiarity with PointClickCare and Net Health EMR systems preferred.
- Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 90% for assistants (and 80% for PTs when applicable).
- Compliance with facility immunization requirements. NJ requires long-term care employees and contract staff to have the flu shot unless there is a medical exemption.
- Prior experience working in a mixed skilled nursing population including subacute and outpatient therapy.
- Experience collaborating within an interdisciplinary team that includes OT, COTA, SLP, and respiratory therapy.
- Schedule: Flexible hours, Monday through Friday.
