Position Summary: With limited supervision, reviews and resolves all open insurance accounts to ensure optimal reimbursement Job Responsibilities: Identifies and resolves denials and payment issues in a timely manner Works toward achieving Best Practice Goals for Days in AR and AR Aging Addresses special projects as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics: Extensive knowledge of: Billing and reimbursement process for physicians and other practitioners Compliance rules and regulations related to physicians Computer hardware and software Team dynamics and the process of building consensus Interpersonal communication skills for working with personnel Qualifications: Minimum experience of five years of A/R Follow-Up in a physician multi-specialty environment is
preferred . High school diploma or equivalent is
