$115,000.00 – $217,000.00 annualized Responsibilities
Act as liaison with Architects, Subcontractors, Consultants, Suppliers, Inspectors, and other Turner job staff and Owner's Representatives to resolve issues related to plans and specifications. Oversee and make decisions regarding contract drawings and subcontract information; ensure all drawings and specifications properly relate to the estimate. Manage the project budget. Manage submittals and shop drawings; assess conformance to contract specifications and resolve any conflicts in interpretation. Negotiate Change Orders; manage information on changes in the work; prepare an independent analysis; obtain and check estimates for the changes from subcontractors; obtain approval of the Architect and Owner; and resolve any conflicts. Oversee the close‑out process; prepare final records such as RFIs, close‑out records, warranties, as‑builts, O&Ms, attic stock, and spare parts; evaluate information to ensure compliance with contract documents. Supervise Assistant Engineers, Engineering Assistants, Plan Clerks, and Interns; provide input on performance appraisals. Prepare Scope of Work documents for trades. Develop reports such as General Conditions items, labor, safety, Change Order logs, and Quality Control. Schedule and manage subcontractor trade coordination meetings, pre‑construction meetings, and submittal review meetings. May perform other duties as necessary or assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of four years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Utilizes leading‑edge technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and LEAN. Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills. Physical Demands
