16 Pediatric Neurologists
5 Pediatric Epileptologists
15 Nurse Practitioners
All practicing within the Hospital's innovative NeuroDevelopmental Science Center, where Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Physiatry, Neuropsychology, and Psychology are seamlessly integrated into one unified physical and functional space — ensuring the best possible outcomes and quality of life for patients.

Our Epilepsy Program Features
An established 8-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
An expanded EMU
Full spectrum epilepsy surgical treatment capabilities
Recognition by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers
The Pediatric Epileptologist will focus on EEG interpretation and clinical management of patients with epilepsy during nights, playing a vital role in continuous, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret inpatient and outpatient EEG studies, including: Routine EEG, Ambulatory EEG, Long‑term video EEG, sEEGs, ICU monitoring, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) recordings
Primary shift: Weekdays, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM EST
May be required for weekend evening shift per month (Saturday or Sunday start), as needed
Participate in patient management upon request from the neurologist on call
Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Collaborate closely with neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, nursing, and allied health professionals
Contribute to program development, education, and research initiatives

Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Board‑certified/board‑eligible in Neurology with subspecialty training in Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology.
Ability to obtain an Ohio Medical License.
