Über

Location: Germany (Position is remotely based with occasional travel to Berlin on Monthly basis) You will play a central role in building and advancing functional controlling with a focus on IT. Working closely with the IT leadership, you will steer budgeting, forecasting, cost management and performance control, ensuring financial transparency and measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities: Lead IT budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning in line with strategic objectives. Own IT cost and performance management, including variance analysis and corrective actions. Monitor IT KPIs such as operating, licence and personnel costs using real-time insights. Manage and optimise IT project controlling, assessing costs, benefits and efficiency. Deliver high-quality financial reporting and strategic insights for management decision-making. Drive standardisation, automation and digital improvements in collaboration with Data & Insights. Act as the main point of contact for IT controlling topics within central functional controlling. Your Profile: Strong experience in IT controlling within complex, multi-entity environments. Confident stakeholder management and leadership mindset with a hands-on approach. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations. Proactive, improvement-oriented and comfortable taking ownership. Strong communication skills in German and English. Advanced SAP and Excel skills; BI tools (e.g. Power BI) or programming experience are an advantage. Degree in business administration, computer science, economics or a comparable field with a finance/controlling focus.
