What We’re Looking For CCRN is seeking a Mobile Therapist(s) (Licensed or Unlicensed) – Independent Contractor to join our caring and compassionate team in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. As a Mobile Therapist, you will have the privilege of providing community‑based behavioral support to a unique group of individuals across all settings in Chester County, PA. What You’ll Do
Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including Behavioral Consultant, teacher, and parent, to implement an individualized behavioral intervention plan in the context of the educational, community, or home setting.
Apply clinical skills in observation of the child in the home, school, and community as part of an assessment in preparation for implementing the treatment plan. A functional behavioral analysis is a key component of this assessment.
Collect data on the behaviors that are addressed by the treatment plan and provide observations and data back to the treatment plan. Report all at‑risk behavior or potential abuse/neglect situations to the clinical supervisor according to agency and State standards.
Provide detailed progress notes of each session.
Maintain agency notes that detail all cancellations and phone calls.
Appropriately use behavioral interventions, emotional support, and other treatment interventions to achieve approved treatment goals and objectives.
Participate with other treatment team members in implementing goals in accordance with CCRN’s mission and values and the Pennsylvania CASSP principles.
Provide coaching, support, and role modeling to family members and significant others to support the therapeutic strategies.
Contribute to building a Culture of Quality and Safety by observation, words, and actions. Address imminent risk events, seeking IBHS leadership support as needed. Immediately report all at‑risk behaviors or potential abuse/neglect situations to the Clinical Supervisor and document it in the Client Record and CCRN Incident Report.
Adhere to CCRN documentation standards. Complete detailed written progress notes of each IBHS services session. Ensure accurate and timely encounter forms.
Regularly and actively participate in regular supervision with the assigned supervisor.
Be knowledgeable of and able to assess CCRN policy and protocols, including the Compliance‑Ethics Plan and core elements, fraud and abuse prevention/reporting requirements, privacy/confidentiality, abuse/neglect mandating reporting, and program, licensing, and accreditation standards.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives as requested – gather data, share in problem‑solving on IBHS issues, and share ways to improve quality care or safety for our clients or staff.
Participate in and complete all required training.
Other duties as assigned.
Credentialing Requirements
Master’s degree in behavioral health or related field of study with at least nine (9) credits specific to clinical practice, and at least one (1) year of full‑time experience providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults.
Individuals who provide individual services through mobile therapy services shall meet one of the following:
Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker.
Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a social worker or a behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.
Have a minimum of 1 year of full‑time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.
Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree with a least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.
Schedule: Flexible Schedule
Contract: Independent Contractor or 1099
Hourly Rate Range: $37 - $45
Background Check Requirement Due to the vulnerable population served by CCRN, all applicants are required to successfully pass state and federal criminal background checks, including any checks mandated by applicable licensing, funding, or regulatory authorities, as a condition of employment.
