Mission Energy is a trusted advisor helping our clients advance their missions through the design, development, financing, and construction management of turnkey clean energy, storage, and efficiency projects. We work to empower any organization, primarily nonprofits, to implement and benefit from clean energy projects. Our rooftop, ground mount, carport, and BESS projects across the US range in size from 250kW – 5MW, typically 500-1,500kW. We develop, finance, and own most of the projects we build.
Our Project Management team oversees the implementation of our projects by working with partners, investors, clients, and subcontractors to create and install high-quality, on-time, on-budget projects for all our stakeholders.
About the Role The Senior Project Manager will own each project assigned – schedule, scope, and budget – from contract signing to final completion. In addition to project management, the role requires solar engineering, design, and construction management expertise (Distributed Generation), transparent and frequent communication, a high level of organization, schedule management, experience managing development-to-construction budgets, and contract negotiations. Success in this role is largely defined by advancing projects through development and construction on time and on budget. You will own the budget and be confident in making financial decisions within the bounds of the budget.
About You You’re a detail-oriented project manager and project owner. You’re ready for equally large amounts of authority and responsibility. You follow up on every detail while ensuring the high-level success of the project. Your success can be measured by delivering efficient, effective, win-win outcomes for all stakeholders. You excel at completing many tasks simultaneously with attention to every detail. Colleagues, subcontractors, investors, and clients are clear on expectations because of your effective, frequent communication. You partner with subcontractors to achieve construction milestones on time and on budget. Your colleagues can consistently rely on you to deliver. You thrive in a small, collaborative, team-oriented environment that is focused on growth while fulfilling the project expectations of each client. You’re excited to help nonprofit organizations implement clean energy and save money so that they can spend more on their mission.
