Responsibilities
Facilitate interactive sessions that build awareness, deepen understanding, and help participants lead and work with more thoughtfulness, responsibility, and care.
Apply thoughtful facilitation techniques, tools, and activities to create engaging, reflective, and immediately applicable learning experiences.
Lead both virtual and in‑person workshops across topics such as leadership, workplace culture, employee experience, and anti‑oppressive practice, tailoring delivery to each organization’s context and goals.
Help participants understand how behavior, decision‑making, and workplace dynamics are shaped by larger systems, structures, and lived experience.
Create respectful environments that support open dialogue, honest reflection, and constructive conversation around complex and sensitive topics.
Support leaders and teams in building the awareness, ownership, and practical skills needed to translate learning into everyday practice.
Help strengthen individual and collective capacity so teams are better equipped to navigate accountability, collaboration, and change.
Stay informed on emerging research and leading practices, incorporating those insights into facilitation content and materials.
Maintain availability during standard business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST) to accommodate most client schedules.
Qualifications
Deep, intersectional understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and proven experience facilitating impactful training programs both virtually and in person.
Passionate about creating human‑centred learning experiences that drive collective and individual growth.
Strong partnership skills with interdisciplinary teams, external clients, and stakeholders.
High emotional intelligence and an empathetic, compassionate, and resourceful facilitation style.
Knowledge of anti‑oppressive strategies and decolonizing practices for organizations.
Excellent communication skills—visual, written, and verbal—and ability to present complex ideas clearly and engagingly.
Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and adaptability of facilitation methods to diverse client needs.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to analyze feedback and refine facilitation methods to continuously improve learning experiences.
Preferred Topics Experience leading sessions on Indigenous relations at work, neurodiversity at work, and AI and ethics in the workplace is highly desirable.
Compensation, Location & Hours
Fully remote team—work from any location with a private, secure, and quiet space for client work.
Compensation: $40–$50 per hour for preparation, administrative tasks, content development, and meetings, plus $500 per session facilitated.
Contract role with 1‑year term, flexible schedule, and autonomy over your work.
Typical client hours fall between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST; availability during these windows is required.
Start Date Contract begins May 2026, with potential sessions available immediately after the posting closes.
