$75,000 per year About Us: LPM Restaurant & Bar is a globally recognized French Mediterranean concept known for its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional cuisine, and refined pastry program. We are excited to open our Boston location and are looking for talented Junior Sous Chefs to join our opening team across both Hot Kitchen and Pastry. Job Summary: We are hiring two Junior Sous Chefs—one for the Hot Kitchen and one for Pastry. Both roles will support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef team in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all dishes and dessert offerings. Key Responsibilities: For Both Roles: Assist in managing daily kitchen operations and service Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes Supervise and support line cooks or pastry team members Maintain food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Assist with inventory, ordering, and stock control Support training and development of team members Help manage food cost, portion control, and minimize waste Ensure compliance with recipes and company standards Additional – Hot Kitchen: Oversee preparation and execution of savory menu items Support all stations including grill, sauté, and garde manger Ensure smooth service during high-volume operations Additional – Pastry: Oversee preparation and execution of desserts and baked goods Ensure consistency in pastry presentation and quality Apply strong knowledge of French pastry techniques Qualifications: Hot Kitchen: Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef/Line Cook ready to step up Background in fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred Knowledge of French or Mediterranean cuisine is a plus Pastry: Previous experience in pastry kitchen (Pastry Sous Chef, Junior Sous, or Chef de Partie) Strong knowledge of French pastry techniques preferred Experience in high-end pastry programs is a plus For Both: Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and consistency Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Compensation & Benefits: $75,000 annual salary Opportunity to be part of a high-profile restaurant opening Career growth opportunities within an international brand
