Responsibilities
Design and develop custom applications and features within ServiceNow based on business requirements.
Collaborate with the team to perform unit testing, functional testing, and support the user acceptance testing (UAT) process.
Provide ongoing support and enhancements for deployed solutions as part of post-implementation services.
Collaborate with system administrators, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
Create custom workflows and automated processes for SAM, HAM, and ITOM Visibility to streamline asset management operations.
Integrate external data sources with ServiceNow (e.g., SCCM, discovery tools) to ensure accurate and real-time asset tracking.
Work with the CTA to ensure that the developed solutions align with architectural standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports and dashboards for asset lifecycle management, license tracking, and compliance monitoring.
Information Security and Confidentiality Obligations
Ensure adherence to organizational information security policies and procedures; actively participate in mandatory security awareness training; and manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company protocols and data protection standards.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
4-8 years of experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications, with a focus on asset management modules (SAM, HAM).
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development frameworks, including Glide, scripting, and REST APIs.
Experience in integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications and databases.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS or similar front-end technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with governance, security, and quality assurance processes in a regulated environment.
Experience supporting federal or large-scale enterprise IT environments.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Work environment
This work will be completed in a telework environment.
Physical demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations and client facilities.
Travel
Yes, occasional travel to client site in Hanford, Washington as needed.
Proficiency Requirement
The employee is expected to demonstrate proficiency in all essential job functions, tools, and processes related to this position within the first 90 days of employment. This includes acquiring a thorough understanding of job-specific responsibilities, systems, and workflows as outlined during onboarding and training. Failure to meet this requirement may result in additional training, reassessment, or other actions as deemed necessary by management.
Employment is contingent upon government approval and, if applicable, contract award.
The base salary range for this position is: $123,636 - $148,960
This base salary range represents a general guideline. An individual’s base salary within that range is determined based on a variety of factors, including (without limitation) the scope, complexities, and responsibilities of the position, the government contract to which the position is assigned, geographic location, market conditions, and the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and skills.
