Unit Public Affairs Representative Job Type: Remote
Jonesboro Realty Company is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Unit Public Affairs Representative. This individual will be responsible for managing the public image and reputation of our company and its units through strategic communication and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic communication plans to promote the company and its units to the public
Manage the company's social media presence and create engaging content to increase brand awareness
Act as a liaison between the company and the local community, building relationships and promoting positive partnerships
Coordinate and attend community events and represent the company in a professional manner
Monitor and respond to any public feedback or inquiries, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner
Develop and maintain relationships with local media outlets to promote company news and events
Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms
Stay updated on industry trends and news, and use this knowledge to enhance the company's public image
Prepare and distribute press releases and other materials to media outlets as needed
Assist in crisis communication and management, ensuring the company's reputation is protected at all times
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, preferably in a real estate or property management industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Proven experience in social media management and content creation
Knowledge of media relations and crisis communication strategies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
