Quantitative Actuarial Analyst Insurance Linked Securities . We transfer reinsurance risks to the capital markets – mainly through securitisations, but also via fronting solutions. We work closely with brokers, legal specialists and banking partners to develop the best possible solutions for our clients. #LI-DNI
You can look forward to
Your main focus will be on carefully reviewing Cat‑Bond submissions, assessing risks and identifying specific features such as windstorm or earthquake exposure
You structure your analyses clearly and support the team in deciding whether risks should be underwritten
You work closely with colleagues from Underwriting, Actuarial, Risk Management and Legal, as well as with external partners, to ensure smooth and efficient processes
As you gain experience, you will work on projects that convert (re)insurance losses into catastrophe bonds, contributing to contract documentation and to the support of our investors and reinsurance partners
You come equipped with
A completed degree in a scientific field such as (business) mathematics, meteorology, physics, statistics or a comparable qualification
Ideally, initial practical experience in actuarial work, risk management, insurance or banking — for example through internships, student roles or early professional experience
English at a business‑fluent level (C1/C2) and German at a confident conversational level (B2 or above), combined with strong communication skills
You make sound decisions in your day‑to‑day work, seek input from others when exploring new topics and actively ask for guidance when needed
You are able to structure complex data and models clearly, translate them into actionable recommendations and bring strong numerical skills and attention to detail
You enjoy working in a team, sharing knowledge and building trust‑based relationships with internal and external partners
