Job Duties Planning & Strategy
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans.
Define business needs, project goals, and key milestones.
Lead Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) workshops to organize deliverables by function and hierarchy.
Schedule Management
Develop and update Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and action plans to ensure goal alignment.
Partner with technical teams to define tasks, durations, assignments, and logic linkages.
Analyze critical paths to drive program execution and highlight schedule drivers.
Earned Value Management (EVM) & Analysis
Integrate schedule data with budget baselines to support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
Perform EVMS schedule analysis, identifying risks and opportunities to ensure program stability.
Support Control Account Managers (CAMs) with monthly analysis, including Schedule Variance (SV) reporting and action item tracking.
Facilitate 30‑60‑90‑day look‑ahead reviews to align near‑term execution with the project baseline.
Change Control & Compliance
Manage schedule re‑baselining and process change requests (BCRs, SCRs, and ACRs).
Maintain IMS data integrity through regular cleanup and audit preparation.
Support the IMS Leader with monthly reporting and Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR).
Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor timelines to identify potential delays and facilitate proactive interventions.
Generate performance reports for leadership, focusing on key metrics, milestones, and critical paths.
Process Development & Improvement
Design and implement standardized project management templates and workflows to enhance consistency.
Identify operational bottlenecks and facilitate process improvement initiatives to streamline execution.
Capture lessons learned to refine internal best practices and improve future project outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of project scheduling or project management experience.
Proficient in Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Some technical or electrical systems background is preferred; emphasis on experience working with engineers.
Ability to take ownership of your work and the overall success of the program you support.

Compensation We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position offers a salary rate of $72,800 to $87,360; Belcan considers education, experience, geographic location, and discipline when extending an offer. Benefits may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), education assistance, paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
