+ Quality improvement initiatives* Demonstrate familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD, CPT, LOINC).**Research Writing & Dissemination*** Serve as first author on ≥2 manuscripts annually, drafting all major sections with minimal guidance.* Contribute substantive feedback to ≥3 co-authored manuscripts annually.* Lead ≥2 research reports or presentations annually for internal or external audiences.* Present findings at ≥1 national or professional conference annually.* Translate analytic findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.**Proposal Development & Partnerships*** Lead at least 1 small proposal annually (e.g., pilot, seed funding, or letter of intent).* Identify 2–4 funding opportunities annually aligned with research priorities.* Contribute ≥30% content to ≥2 complex proposals annually.* Initiate or support at least 1 external partnership annually**Project & Operational Management*** Support development and management of project budgets under guidance of senior staff.* Allocate resources effectively across analytic tasks and project timelines.* Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, timelines, and deliverables.* Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, IRB requirements, and data governance standards.* Maintain strict confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive clinical data.**Team Collaboration & Support*** Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, analysts, educators, and external partners.* Provide guidance to Research Associates on analytic tasks and data management.* Contribute to a strong, methodologically rigorous, and collaborative research culture**QUALIFICATIONS**Required Education* Masters degree with at least 5 years of research experience commensurate with other requirements. OR* Doctoral degree (PhD, ScD, DrPH, or equivalent) in public health, epidemiology, health services research, health policy, implementation science, or related field**Required Experience*** Strong track record of hands-on data analysis using large, complex datasets.* Experience in applied research in healthcare settings, preferably primary care or safety-net environments.* Experience supporting or leading peer-reviewed publications**Required Skills*** Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SAS, Stata, R, or equivalent).* Experience with:
+ Statistical modeling and causal inference methods
+ Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD, CPT, LOINC)* Advanced proficiency in at least one: Python, R, or SAS* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior researchers.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience working with FQHCs or safety-net healthcare systems.* Familiarity with implementation science or health services research.* Experience with machine learning or natural language processing.* Experience contributing to grant proposals**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT**Remote with occasional travel to healthcare sites, meetings, and conferences[Types any additional notes if needed]**Confidentiality of Information**Confidentiality of business information is a requirement.
