Job Title & Location Engineering Manager (m/f/x) – Remote, EU.
About the Role We’re looking for innovative, driven Engineering Managers who are passionate about technology and sustainability to build tools that enable companies to make smarter, more responsible decisions. In this fixed, permanent position you’ll lead and collaborate with talented professionals, contribute to cutting‑edge projects, and help drive the digital transformation of industries worldwide.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of 5 to 8 engineers, including new hires, while actively supporting ongoing projects.
Enable professional and personal growth for the team through coaching, technical expertise development, and regular feedback.
Support the VP of Engineering in hiring top talent via seamless technical interviews and thorough onboarding.
Mentor, pair, and delegate work to foster the team’s technical and professional growth.
Drive delivery through excellent coordination and a well‑planned strategy across cross‑functional teams.
Introduce best coding practices and improve the backend code base.
Qualifications & Experience
Over 3 years of experience as a manager.
Experience leading primarily backend‑focused engineers; an advantage if you have also led full‑stack or frontend engineers.
Expertise in Python.
Interest in solving real‑world problems and contributing to a market‑leading green‑tech product.
Background in a startup or scale‑up environment where process enablement and methodologies are vital.
Legal residence and permission to work in the EU.
