We’re looking for energetic UK teachers who can encourage our students to collaborate with each other, be creative, and help shape the thinkers of tomorrow.
The Role Our teachers are positive and energetic individuals, who come from a range of backgrounds and experience levels, but the one thing they have in common is they are all passionate about teaching. Lessons last 60 minutes and all lesson plans are provided, created by our internal team. This is a contractor position. Please note we are unable to take any Tier 4 Student Visas at this time due to the contractual nature of the role.
Requirements
Are infectiously
enthusiastic , ready to inspire children
Have an interest in technology and coding
Are technologically proficient
Are confident working with children aged 6-14
Are able to break down complicated subjects into easy to understand concepts
Are adaptable and able to think on your feet
Are available for evening and/or weekend hours
Are available 5-15 hours a week
Currently live in the UK (Please note we are unable to take any Tier 4 Student Visas at this time due to the contractual nature of the role.)
Other desirable, but not essential skills
Coding knowledge or a computer science qualification
Special educational needs and disability experience
Teaching qualification / experience within classroom setting
Knowledge of lesson delivery
Online tutoring / teaching experience
Enhanced DBS checked

What is the Interview Process Like? Step 1: Video Interview - 3 video questions (9 minutes or less)
Step 2: Final Interview/Trial Lesson with members of the Coco Coders team (30 minutes in Google Meet)
