About the Role To strengthen their Sales team, we are searching for a highly motivated individual with the right attitude, skills, and experience. Reporting to the President of the company, your goal will be to seek opportunities and to increase overall sales in Texas. The position is remote but requires travel within the territory to visit accounts on a regular basis providing continuous support and generating new business.
Responsibilities
Travel within the Territory, manage and visit accounts on a regular basis to provide continuous support and generate new business
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales cycle and developing new and existing dealers
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
Study potential volume of dealers and focus on sales efforts
New projects development, lead generation process with focus on multifamily housing
Uncover leads, drive new meetings, set up site visits, and close business
Implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
Utilize CRM and other tools to track and measure individual sales performance and opportunities
Provide full training and field support
Qualifications and required Skills You are an experienced outside sales professional with a proven track record selling physical products to dealers and distributors in the construction market.
This position requires being on the road daily with up to 40% overnight travel.
Must reside in the Houston or Dallas area.
8+ years of successful previous experience as an outside sales representative, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Highly motivated and target driven, with a proven track record in outside sales
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Security industry experience is a plus
Customer service oriented, with the ability to meet sales goals
Strong business sense and industry expertise
A self-starter who can plan and organize their own daily work schedule to maximize contact with customers
Highly Results Oriented and able to work independently
Excellent communication and negotiation Skills
Energetic demeanor and technically inclined
Microsoft office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook & CRM (Projects and data analysis)
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
