This role works closely with culinary leadership and plays a critical role in maintaining food quality, kitchen efficiency, sanitation standards, and overall team performance. High-energy, team-oriented kitchen culture Benefits Upon Direct Hire • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Health insurance • Dental insurance • Paid sick leave Key Responsibilities • Work closely with culinary leadership to oversee daily kitchen operations • Supervise, train, schedule, and support kitchen staff • Ensure food quality, recipe execution, portion control, and presentation standards are consistently maintained • Demonstrate the ability to work all kitchen stations and step into operational gaps as needed • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health compliance standards, including daily line checks • Support inventory management, product rotation, and ordering processes • Monitor kitchen productivity, workflow efficiency, and labor support needs • Promote a positive, professional, and team-focused kitchen culture • Assist with onboarding and development of new kitchen staff • Ensure preventive maintenance and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld Qualifications • Previous kitchen leadership or kitchen management experience preferred • ServeSafe Management Certification required • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment • Hands-on leadership style with willingness to support all kitchen operations • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen workflow management • Dependable attendance and scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends If you’re looking for a long-term opportunity with a respected local restaurant group that values leadership, teamwork, and operational excellence, we’d love to connect with you.
