divh2Rental Inside Sales Rep/h2pThe Rental Inside Sales Representative (RISR) is responsible for driving and achieving machinery, tool and equipment rental revenue growth by conducting outbound calls to dormant, inactive and/or lost customers. Developing and maintaining relationships, providing exceptional customer service and strong product knowledge are key to the success of this position and the department./ppDO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?/ppWHAT YOULL DO:/pulliDrive and achieve machinery, tool and equipment rental revenue growth by conducting outbound calls to all dormant, inactive and lost customers on a consistent basis. Utilize dormant, inactive and lost customers list daily./liliDrive rental campaigns and rental promotional activities as assigned./liliDevelop and maintain relationships internally and externally, providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction./liliUnderstand customer rental needs; recommend products and services to existing and potential customers./liliNegotiate rental contracts in accordance to all company policies, procedures and/or guidelines; utilize appropriate discretion to maintain profit margin./liliPrepare and assist with rental quotes./liliComplete rental transactions accurately and timely; coordinate pickup and/or delivery of rental equipment./liliDetermine cost effective method to transfer equipment between stores as needed. Track all rental equipment transfers./liliCompare computer and physical inventory counts and solve any discrepancies as needed./liliObtain credit PO requirements from our internal credit department as needed on a daily basis./liliDemonstrate safe and proper operation of equipment to customers./liliAccurately document lost rentals from customer and sales representatives./liliEnsure cash (COD) accounts are collected and maintained throughout the rental period./liliInvoice rental fuel, maintenance, damage, and transportation costs as needed./liliProvide prompt response to incoming calls and return of voice messages./liliEnsure company policies, safety policies, and work processes are followed and in compliance./liliAttend trade shows./liliMaintain product knowledge in order to provide best solutions for customer needs./li/ulpWHAT YOULL NEED:/pulliBachelors degree from a four-year college or university; or one to three years related rental equipment industry experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience./liliBasic PC skills required, should have a working knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and web-based computer platforms./liliExcellent communication, interpersonal, persuasion, negotiating, relationship building, problem-solving and decision-making skills./liliAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations./liliAbility to write reports and business correspondence./liliAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public./liliAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages./liliAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists./liliAbility to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced work environment./liliValid drivers license and clean driving record./li/ulpWHY WORK WITH US?/pulliWe like to take care of business and have fun doing it!/liliWe offer health, dental, vision, life, and more as a comprehensive benefits package./liliDont you want to work with awesome people?/li/ulpIMPORTANT INFORMATION:/ppWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
