divh2Medical Assistant/h2pIts fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what theyre doing!/ppWere committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business./ph3Job Responsibilities:/h3ulliProvide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations/liliGreet and register patients as they arrive/liliObtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake/liliPrepare patients for X-rays/liliPerform and document routine labs, such as throat and urine cultures (venipuncture experience preferred)/liliIrrigate and assist with wounds/liliAssist in performing quality control testing in the lab/liliBe an integral part of the patient care team and assist with patient care within the scope of practice/liliKeep exam rooms and front reception stocked with adequate supplies/liliMaintain order and cleanliness of the waiting room area/liliPractice standard safety practices and precautions/liliHelp patients in distress by responding to emergencies and notifying medical team (nurse, urgent care tech, and physician)/liliMaintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes to management team/liliMaintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential/liliEnhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and challenging requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments/liliAssistant patients with complaints and taking an active role in service recovery when needed/liliPerform other duties as needed including apply splints and assisting the nurse and/or provider in other medical procedures/liliProvide exceptional customer services/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh school diploma or GED/liliPrior experience and/or education as a Medical Assistant/liliKnowledge or EKG placement and processing in children/liliAbility to obtain laboratory tests via nasal swab, and venipuncture/liliDemonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor/liliStrong communications and organizational skills/liliPrior pediatric experience/liliCapable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment/liliComfortable with computers, Microsoft Office Suite/liliWilling to learn medical software/liliExperience with medical records preferred/li/ulh3EEO Statement/h3pPM Pediatric Care is an equal employment opportunity employer.
