The Dispensary Associate is responsible for guiding a customer on their journey into cannabis by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects. In this role, you will need to be knowledgeable enough to speak to customers about various products and their effects while providing excellent customer service. The primary function of a Dispensary Associate is to facilitate a customer's purchase per State regulations, while providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key duties and responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers; providing empathy and compassion to patients; providing the TruExperience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge; assisting Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy; preparing and processing patient orders in a timely and efficient manner; following Trulieve Policies and Procedures; working directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience; assisting customers with any product or device issues; working with leadership and management to find solutions to customer issues; documenting customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile; maintaining a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift; and any other task(s) as assigned by Management.
Additional responsibilities as Delivery Associate as needed include possessing a valid driver's license and clear driving record to fulfill delivery driver role and following all Trulieve Policies and Procedures as delivery associate. Additional responsibilities as Online Support include assisting with processing all online orders, including deliveries, in a 2-hour timeframe.
Skills and qualifications include a high-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or in a similar field; being a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV); prior experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus; prior cash handling experience; ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels; excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively with others in both verbal and written form; ability to work effectively without supervision and in a team environment; strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion; ability to understand and follow written/oral instructions; ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely; ability to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment (computer, laptop), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices; mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties; valid driver's license and a clean driving record to fulfill the Delivery Driver role; and ability to pass a comprehensive background record check.
Physical requirements include moving intermittently throughout the workday; accurately communicating and exchanging sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public; observing/inspecting details at varying ranges; operating computing devices; manipulating objects of varying sizes and weights; lifting/carrying/positioning objects up to 50 lbs; ascending/descending stool/ladder/steps; positioning self and/or objects at floor level; and remaining in a seated position.
Work schedule includes flexible hours depending on store needs and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position will work up to 40 hours per week and will be available "after hours" based on business needs.
