We have just the spot for you in our Iowa 80 Truckstop Fuel Center!/ppThe ideal candidate will be outgoing, dedicated to maintaining positive, supportive relationships with our customers and staff, eager to assist them with their traveling needs and selections of products as well as the employee growth./ppWe work with truck drivers and travelers from all over the world, assisting in their dining needs, unique gifts, CAT scale, fueling, and so much more!/ppResponsibilities/pulliLead the shift and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently without direct manager supervision./liliSupervise and motivate staff, delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with safety procedures./liliProvide exceptional customer service while assisting customers with merchandise selection and purchases./liliOperate cash registers and maintain accurate cash drawers and deposits./liliHandle and help de-escalate customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner./liliMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including cleaning restrooms, equipment, and sales areas./liliWork collaboratively as part of a team to deliver friendly, high-quality service./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulpRequirements/pulliLeadership Reliability: Ability to work independently and manage a small team./liliFood Safety Certification: Knowledge of health department regulations, often requiring a food handler permit or certification./liliPhysical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for 68 hours and lift up to 50 lbs./liliTechnical Skills: Experience with POS systems, cash registers, and inventory management./liliFlexibility: Willingness to work weekends, and holidays./liliCustomer Service: Friendly and helpful personality with a willingness to assist customers promptly./liliExperience: Previous retail and supervisory experience are a plus./liliMust be able to work well with others./li/ul/div
