This position is considered an essential function to the operation of the Community, therefore, consistent attendance is an essential function of this position, as it directly impacts the employees ability to perform their duties effectively and ensures proper workflow and communication within the team./ppPrimary Duties And Responsibilities:/pulliAbides by Fair Housing Laws./liliProvides tours of apartments to prospective residents./liliRuns credit reports on prospective residents./liliPrepares lease packets./liliInspects apartments prior to showing them./liliMaintains logs of traffic through the property./liliLeases units./liliProvides information over the telephone to prospective residents./liliMaintains a visible public relations attitude toward current and prospective residents./li/ulpOccasional Functions:/pulliTyping and filing propertyrelated reports./liliMay be asked to assist with rent collection, bank deposits, or other general errands./liliMay be asked to assist with resident retention activities./li/ulpPosition Requirements / Qualifications:/pulliHigh School Diploma/GED./liliSome advanced real estate training, including familiarity with the Landlord-Tenant and Fair Housing laws, and prior experience in a leasing position; Preferred./liliValid Drivers License (if operating a vehicle)/li/ulpPhysical Activities:/pulliPhysical Activities up to and including, typing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing stairs, or sitting for periods of time./liliAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs./li/ulpGeneral:/pulliHours worked will coincide with the hours of operation in the community.
